I like chicken wings. I like them so much that many of my previous posts are about visiting restaurants in the area on my bike and reviewing their wings.
I was in a hurry, and hungry the other day, being between shifts on the NYS Thruway. I saw these “pecan wood smoked flavored” wings at the 7-11 and thought I would try them.
They were around $4.50 for five of them, not what I would call cheap. Once I got the box I stuffed my nose in the crack. My smeller told me there was a boiled hot dog in the box. My brain said no, that we just watched him put wings in it.
I don’t like hot dogs much. It is rare that I will eat one.
Ever wonder how somebody could possibly screw up that badly? This is one of those times. How do you get a chicken wing to taste like a hot dog I will never know.
Not gonna do that again.
As stated in a previous post, I bought a 2015 Hyundai Elantra with the purpose to set it up to be dingy towed. I am happy to report that it is now done!
The kit comes with diodes that keep power from feeding back into the car, and for some reason (once again) that is important so use them.
Here it is, done. Tie up any loose wires.
Once the car was done and put back together, we made a harness to go from the RV to the car. If you buy one they are like, eighty bucks. I spent enough on this project. I got a seven prong male RV plug and a small six post round male and female.
If you like blues music, which I love, and motorcycles, guilty again, Thursday nights at Native Pride are the place to be. Located on Rt. 20 on the Res and showcasing excellent blues bands, it has all the things one would expect from a Native American truck stop, like smokes, food, fuel, Arizona Tea cans.
This is not the first show. They have been doing it all summer, but I have just been busy, or too lazy, to talk about it. They do have all of my favorite things!
Still there are rockin’ blues and nice bikes to look at.
And no, being at a bike show didn’t stop me from snapping a few pics of this awesome Cutlass, even if I couldn’t track down the owner.
There is not a lot to do there, but the nature lover in you, and maybe the scientist, will be happy you went. I am not used to hiking and I did the trail no problem. Just watch the rocks and the tree roots. Like I said, it was really hot that day so by the time I was done I was soaked in my own juices. In the picture I already found some water from the men’s room and dumped it on my head.
