In a previous post, I shared a story from Car and Driver about the Viper going bye bye. This is what Road and Track had to say: “There’s no getting around it: The Viper’s sales figures are terrible. Despite setting record lap times at 13 racetracks, it was still far outsold by the Mercedes-AMG GT. Unfortunately, Dodge just can’t afford to keep making the Viper, and will end its production soon. So get one now while you still can.” With only 676 units sold, no wonder it is going away. The story is part of a series of cars that did not do well.
